Tell us more about your company.
Johnsey Estates. Is a privately owned property company with a portfolio of office and industrial properties and residential land in South Wales. We also own and manage Mamhilad Park Estate, a thriving business park in Torfaen that is home to over 180 different businesses.
What are your businesses goals for the upcoming year.
We will continue to invest in Mamhilad so that we can offer the choice, flexibility and opportunity that businesses need. We are also working hard to minimise our environmental impact – future proofing our business, building resilience and supporting our local communities with a long-term investment programme for the benefit of existing and future occupiers.
What is your favourite location in Torfaen or Monmouthshire?
This is a fantastic place to do business and to live. It is accessible, welcoming and beautiful with a stunning landscape that makes living locally and working here a real joy. There are just too many great spots to have one favourite but our DuPont Dacron Nature Trail is a woodland walk that I will never tire of.
What advice would you offer entrants to the awards?

What do you think are the most important qualities for success in business?
Business can be incredibly rewarding but it can also be hard so resilience is a must as is plenty of tenacity, drive and determination. You need a vision and a plan then you need to surround yourself with good people.
