Why did you enter the Torfaen & Monmouthshire Business Awards?
As a growing business in the Torfaen and Monmouthshire area it was important for us to put ourselves forward to a wider audience and to support other local businesses.
What did winning mean for you or your business?
Wow…..what a surprise! We entered two categories and were hoping to win one, but to our surprise we won both ‘Employer of the Year’ and ‘Financial and Professional Service Business’. This means so much to us! We all feel as though we’re doing a good job, but to have that recognition from others is just overwhelming. We are so grateful for the recognition and proud of what we as a company have achieved so far. It’s great to show our employees that they’re part of a recognised company. We’re already looking at ways in which we can further this success!
What did you think of the awards ceremony?
It was a lovely evening. Well planned and very welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.
How did you find the interview process or the awards?
I was very nervous prior to arriving and worried I wouldn’t get through my presentation in the five-minute timeframe, but when I arrived the whole process was very friendly and relaxed, the judges were very welcoming and made the whole experience pleasant.
What’s been a challenge for you or your business during the last year and how did you overcome it?
Capacity within the insurance market is tight which means that finding competitive products isn’t easy but we’ve been innovative and kept ahead of our peers.
What’s been a highlight for you or your business over the last year and why?
Winning awards! In addition to being named as Financial & Professional Service provider and Employer of the Year in Torfaen and Monmouthshire and being short listed for Employer of the year in the South Wales Business Awards, we are thrilled to have been named as number 11 out of all the Insurtechs in the UK & aim to get into the top 10 next year!
How did you hear about this years business awards?
We attended the awards last year, where we were the proud winners of the ‘Financial and Professional Service Business’ award.
What are your goals for 2025?
Our goal is to be recognised as the pre-eminent fintech company in South East Wales, to double our profit and to offer excellent career opportunities for the people of the Eastern valleys

The ability to impact our market segment through innovative, energetic and committed people and to provide our staff with security, skills and opportunities
